Oh Yuk puts it mildly.

I'm not even sure I want to go back to my memories of what happened with Oh Yuk. We moved into our house in August 2013. The master bathroom features a walk-in shower with multiple jets. When we moved in, I cleaned the nozzles with bleach and dishwashing powder (you know, Pinterest style), and I've run this cycle through a few more times since. We mainly used this bathroom and shower tray as we are renovating our other bathroom. Since I cleaned the jets fairly regularly and cleaned the tub regularly, I figured the jets were clean. OH. MY. GLOBE. I followed the directions on the bottle and couldn't believe it. Out of those nozzles came the most disgusting, disgusting, slimy sludge. The worst thing was that it then bubbled up. IT WAS BLOWING MUD. I ran the jets for the allotted time, turned them off, and then thanked all the authorities for allowing our bathtub to have a drain at the top. the jets previously living in your bathtub are now clinging to the walls of your bathtub. Do not be afraid. You will come off with a sponge. you have been warned
