I was so angry and disappointed when I first ordered because someone in Virginia thought they needed it more than I did even though I paid for it. Never seen. I complained and Revain IMMEDIATELY refunded my money and I ordered again. I didn't mean to, but I'm so happy I did! This dehydrator was used for 4 batches of jerky and a bushel of tomatoes. I have 100# potatoes to dehydrate. I've used Nesco and a few other round dehydrators in the past and this one knocks the round guys out. Drying times are much faster, heat is more even, and airflow is much better, meaning you spend less time with trays and food. . I should have gone with one of those years. I thought it gave off quite a bit of heat when running too, but when the weather gets cooler it keeps the kitchen warmer than usual. I didn't suck much power either. I'll be using this way more often than planned and be able to dehydrate all sorts of things. Mrs. Wolfie from Our Half Acre Homestead has a ton of videos on dehydrating food to preserve things I didn't know you could dehydrate, which I've always wanted to try and now I can. I'll let you know how it goes, but if what's been done continues to work I'll find more things to fill in.
