Firstly the instructions that come with this kit are terrible. Second, the video shows the adhesive used to seal the watch after the repair, but it is not included. Instead, they include a double-sided sticky pad that never offers the same watertight seal. Don't worry because the renovation will never get that far. Third, there are many items in this set that are unrelated to this repair. The instructions don't even indicate what they are for (e.g. plastic handles with screws on the end). As for the repair itself, I've watched a lot of YouTube videos to see how this repair is done. I managed to open the watch, remove the protective stickers and disconnect the cables. Moving very carefully and slowly, I was about halfway down the wire to separate the glass when the wire accidentally hit the display. There's a reason every repair video shows a person using a vacuum block to hold the display in place and using wire to separate the glass. It's almost impossible to do it manually. The included suction cup is a joke. Using double-sided tape I got halfway there, but even then, with the curved glass edge on either side, it's extremely difficult to keep the wire at the right height without bumping into the display. . Even with the right tools, this is a really tricky repair. However, this set is a complete joke. Don't waste money.
