I read the reviews before buying so I knew there was a risk. When I got tired of looking at the tape holding my FOB together, I took a chance and ordered a part. When I received it it turned out to be a fairly simple build. I first tried using the FORD shield from my original FOB but couldn't assemble it. There are 30 minutes of my life that I will never get back. I then tried to use all the replacement parts that came with the unit (except for the valet key). It took me about 45 minutes to contend with battery slippage and alignment issues to finally get it back together. So it works, but how painful is the gathering.
