waste of money and time. Today I put 80 studs on 4 new Firestone Destination M/T tires and installed them on my 2000 Jeep Wrangler (20 studs per tire). I rode 17 miles (it was one ride) with about 8 inches of snow, snow and ice and a few clear roads. When I got to my destination I looked at the tires and thought that almost all of the studs had broken off at the level of the tire tread, but in fact they were completely sunken into the tread! I don't think I can get them out because the hex head is now fully inside the tire tread.
