I need reading glasses (for presbyopia) and need more correction for close work, not so much for looking at a computer monitor and almost none for looking at my colleagues, whiteboards or too look at projector screens in conference rooms. I've tried a pair of prescription multifocus glasses and they all had weird aberrations, had too much correction at the top, and were tiny at the bottom for a closer reading area, tiny both vertically and horizontally: when I held a book in my hand, the reading area didn't even cover it the width of the paperback page. The frames are too weak for the heavy use I give them: in a year and a half I've broken two on the hinges. However, the price couldn't be lower and I'm willing to keep extra pairs in case I break or forget them. The fragility would knock a star down in the ranking, but the price bumps it up again. I dread the day they stop making them; When the time comes I think I'll have to order enough pairs to last another 20+ years.
