Can be removed with a socket.
This replacement drain plug is perfect. The main reason I ordered this connector was that the OEM connector was installed and removed with a hex wrench. It had ripped off and I had to use a hammer and chisel to remove it. It has a nut-like hex and can be removed with a hex socket. Better!
