It might not have been on the manufacturer's radar, but it's a great option for children with hypotension or special needs. My little one has mild hypotension but that's enough for her not to be able to walk around in normal winter clothes. She is not strong enough to move her body with extra weight. Not to mention that prettier and neater winter suits don't roll up on your feet. So putting boots on a dangling-legged toddler who can't resist when you can roll up his winter pants? Forget it. It is impossible. These pants are amazing. My baby can walk in it. When it's full of snow, all she needs is wool pajamas underneath, to warm up. But whatever the weather, these pants are enough on their own. She is in 2T and I bumped it up to 3T to have room to grow. So they're a little baggy, but she'll grow in them for the rest of the winter. And they go with cloth diapers too!
