Review on Efficient 12V Starter Tilt Trim Pump Relay Solenoid 89-96158 for Mercruiser - Boost Performance by Scott Bradford

I'm having trouble starting the boat. Sometimes it clicked and didn't work, but after a few tries it always worked. After doing my homework (google) this solenoid was suggested as a first step before looking at the starter as it is a common source of error and an easy/inexpensive fix. For now it solved my problem and everything was fine. It should be noted that the old solenoid had somewhat large small pins so I had to adapt my wire connectors for this, but it wasn't really a problem, just wanted to mention it.
