The stitching on the front (and back, sold separately) is really noticeable. There was also discoloration, leaving a sink sticking out. Essentially, the gap is a decent size and taller than the other case. It might not bother you, but it's really not very comfortable to hold in your hands. The seams don't line up and that's because it lifts up when you hold it. Installation is not difficult but can be time consuming when testing with original PS4 controller skins. The same problem with seams. That's very bad, because it's a really beautiful shell. I ended up sending both of them back. I wish this company would sell them as a set and better quality control could catch that. Who knows, maybe I have a bad case. I won't swap as installation is pretty easy BUT again, installation takes a long time if it doesn't fit properly. (You just have to keep an eye on the two ribbon cables). Finally, the circle knob seemed to sit a little lower than the rest. And if the screws are overtightened, the share and options buttons don't click/click. So that's a different issue, but overall it's still playable, but it's a deal breaker for me. I really wanted to give this at least 3 stars because if the above issue was fixed it would feel amazing.
