Review on ๐Ÿ•๏ธ REDCAMP Waterproof Car Awning Sun Shelter โ€“ Portable Canopy for Camping, Outdoor Activities, SUV, Beach in Beige/Army Green by Paul Walters

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perfect fit for our RV

We used this canopy to add shade and rain canopy to the side of our small RV (Sunset Trailers/Sunray Classic 139, 12ft) which includes an outdoor kitchen and door to the same Side. Because the side profile of the RV is sloped, rigid square frame awnings/canopies (like EZ-Ups and other pop-up awnings) will not work. This canopy is perfect. It was easy to install, easy to set up to fit the shape of our RV - there are loops for mounting where you need them. Mother Nature put it to the test - we had a day and a half of heavy rain and then 15 mph winds with gusts up to 25. The canopy handled it all. It kept our kitchen and entryway dry, didn't drain, warp or crack, damage or scratch the camper. The supplied pegs are impressive: they're deep, strong, easy to drive in and hook into, and easy to remove (stake removal hooks included). I will be buying more of these inserts to replace my other (now lower) inserts. Sufficiently high and strong poles - connected with a shock-absorbing cord (like some tent poles). This is an ingenious design, well made and just what we needed.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Lots of stuff
