Fantastic shoes for beginning runners. My 14 month old daughter is much more stable in them than in other shoes (especially sandals). We go on little "hikes” together and I notice how much these shoes help her to keep her balance. It's also great that they can be washed without damage. They are quite narrow and run small. My daughter is long and lanky (including her legs!) so they are perfect for her. She has outgrown a size 5 while in other shoes she still wears a size 4 and a 4.5 so I recommend ordering a full size. They're a little hard to come by, but not that bad. The trick is to pull the tongue up on the heel. They are so good that I immediately ordered a second pair of 6s as soon as they grew from 5a.
