Review on 🔦 J.LUMI TRK9601 LED Track Light Head - Vintage Industrial Design, Line Voltage Track Head for Artwork - Includes 5W LED GU10 Bulb, Non-Dimmable - Black by David Guliford

Bought at retail for installation. For the price, the lights are very well made, on par with theater lights (just smaller). They worked great on the H track already installed and the blocks appear to be put together very well. I would give this product five stars except for two issues, one of which probably won't bother anyone. As many other people have said, the lamps that come with these units were a bit unfortunate. Of the 7 pieces I bought, I had at least 2 defective lamps. One didn't work and the other fell apart when I took it out of the box. I ended up buying other lamps, so I never tried the rest of the lamps. 2. This issue is minor and probably not a problem for anyone, but I liked the idea that the focal length of the lamp can be adjusted. Slide the lamp back into the fixture to create a larger spot and slide the front of the lamp further to create more floodlight. The problem is that the lamp doesn't move far enough to pull it back into the fixture. If the lamp had another inch of travel it would solve this problem and be really helpful. As a theatrical lighting designer, I was probably too excited to be able to control the beam of light in this way. All in all these are very good fasteners and I will be buying more for other projects. Barn doors are great for controlling the spread of light and they have a very nice theatrical feel to them. So if you're planning on replacing the bulbs anyway, or don't care about being able to focus the bulb in a meaningful way, these things are amazing!
