Not a bad case for the price, but there are a few things that make it not bad but not great. Some good things first: It fits well, it was actually a bit difficult to put it on without feeling like one of the buttons would be damaged. Once, no problem. It is also good that the kickstand works great in portrait format. Great if this is the stand's main use. Looks so beautiful on a table or countertop. Another good thing is that the top and bottom are mostly completely open, so no problem (yet) with chargers or plugs that are too big to fit through the holes. Finally, the kickstand sits satisfactorily in the open and closed position, making the tail nice and flat and fairly thin, which is very handy for use in a car mount. Finally, for landscape viewing, it works well on both the left and right sides. Oh one more thing, I love that the Bixby button is recessed so I don't accidentally touch it :-) ON THE OTHER SIDE. When you put the phone on the display, then the case will NOT touch the table/table/etc. which means it doesn't really protect the front from being dropped or, more importantly, from being scratched when placed face down. I definitely don't feel comfortable leaving the phone face down without a screen protector, and even then I would be concerned about scratching the screen protector. Also, with so little body around the edges, it's more common to accidentally touch the edge of the screen when they don't want to. Besides, this is a slippery business. It's not one that you can easily lift over your head while lying in bed. At least without a footrest. and yet the kickstand is closer to the bottom of the phone, so it's not in the ideal position for that "pop-up jack" feel (compare with the Note 7's i-Blason Transformer case). So. Some good, some not so good. I want: #1 to be a bit thicker on the front to protect the display, #2 to be made of a material that doesn't feel as slippery, and #3 to allow the stand to be placed in the "down" position ( what it does). good), but also in the "middle” position, making it comfortable to hold in the hand when the stand is open.
