I'm using this as a temporary alternative to reconnecting the wireless access point. When I plugged it in and checked the speed, my throughput dropped from over 180 Mbps to 60. I worried a bit about this, then on a whim tried the second port in the kit and got the full 180 Mbps I was experiencing without it . . So I think it's good that there are two of them?
