I bought this to have more variety in hand embroidery. I can't explain how much I hate her. First, they cannot be tightened as much as necessary. It doesn't hold the fabric at all. The fabric stretches and sags in places. No matter how many times I try, I can't tighten the screws enough. Second, they are already falling apart! There is a splinter on the edge where the circle should meet. My threads get stuck in the pieces of wood, they scratch me and look horrible. The only good thing is they don't have horrible blue plastic on metal. But not a worthy compromise. Please do not buy this embroidery hoop! Save yourself money and hassle and get the best quality!
