I took an old scooter that didn't work and I lost the original adapter. The throttle makes the controller click, but the steering wheel has no power. I checked the old batteries, one was 12.24v and the other was 10.65v. I decided to give it a try before replacing the batteries. The charger worked and charged the batteries to nominal voltage, after which the motor started to work! Even if it's not a lot of work. When I step on it as a grown man it doesn't work, but with a child on it and on level ground it works fine. The light was still green even though I knew it needed charging, but I left it overnight and it was fully charged the next morning. After an initial test in the driveway I plugged in the charger, this time the light went red so I knew it was charging the batteries. I still have to change the batteries, but at least I have a good charger now.
