To be honest I saw 'lasagna pan' in the description and said 'Ohhh! Stainless steel lasagne pan!” and grabbed it. My lasagna is well known, don't even brag. Always looking for acceleration, I've been using glass pans for years but wanted to move on to something that heats up a little quicker so decided stainless is wtg. Also, stainless steel is MUCH less delicate than glass. So I was all in. Unfortunately, that's too much for lasagne (at least with store-bought pasta). Now if you make your own lasagna noodles which to be honest I might just have to start making them now that I have them and they are very wide, this would probably make a great lasagna pan. But if you just want to cook pasta in a box, then understand that this pan is big enough to put lasagna pasta across the width. With room for RESERVE. Maybe a good lasagna pan if you're making HUGE lasagna for a restaurant, for example? Then maybe it's perfect for that. Comes with a VERY good "fry stand", I mean heavy industrial quality. By the way, the pan and riveted handles are also very durable and the stainless steel polish is PERFECT. I say BRILLIANT. Comes with some nice roast or poultry lifting forks. But honestly, the part of this set that stands out the MOST? Includes turkey lube. I know what you're thinking. "Turkey tincture? Is that the climax? Yes, honestly, the turkey lube that comes with this pan is the best turkey lube I've ever seen. First, the entire body is made of stainless steel. Second, it comes with a tapered cleaning brush that seems to fit a loofah perfectly, so it even comes with a cleaning tool. Finally, it's threaded and includes 2 hypodermic needles, so not only does it tinker, it injects too. Everything made of stainless steel again. So, a really nice pan that really is NOT made for regular boxed noodle lasagne (sigh) but more for frying. But great for frying, and actually still good for lasagna if you make your own super wide pasta (or make them HUGE for, say, an Italian restaurant). But not so good for general lasagna use. I have a pasta attachment for my KitchenAid mixer, so now that I have a giant pan I think I need to start making giant lasagna. Because I REALLY want to make lasagna in it. Or find a smaller stainless steel lasagna dish. One or the other. After reading my review I hope you understand what it is best for and what it might not be so good for. Hope that helps! Have fun cooking!
