Review on 🌈 Pivotal Therapy Occipivot: Unleash the Power of Precision Neck Pain Relief by Janet Winn

Finally get rid of headaches and allergies!

This product is amazing! For many years I have suffered from seasonal allergies, including constant congestion/sinus pressure, eye pain and severe headaches lasting several days. I am a Medical Osteopathy ("DO") student and have learned both through school and through experience the importance of myofascial (muscle-connective tissue) relaxation, the principle on which occipivot is based. Specifically, this product uses the "Suboccipital Release" technique (also known as "OA" or "Occiput-Atlanto-Release") to relieve tension at the base of the skull. This method helps with both headache relief and improving lymph flow (i.e. I use this product almost daily (at least 10-15 minutes a day) and was able to increase the amount of Zirtek I take (which used to be daily) reduce significantly). I also now get less headaches and don't feel as much pressure in my sinuses (particularly behind my eyes) as I did before using Occipivot. Also, I often use Occipivot to relieve muscle spasms in my back. (Added bonus!) Before purchasing this product, I looked at several other comparable brands/models and found that many reviews of these products mentioned that the device was too stiff and uncomfortable. This occipivot has some cushioning but is still quite firm, effectively releasing myofascial tension. You have the option of using it in two different ways, one with the support side at an angle towards the neck and the other with the support side towards the head. I use it both ways to target different areas based on where tension is greatest. I would recommend if you have never used such a product and/or have never had any osteopathic manipulation procedures that you start from the support side towards the head. The easiest way to find a suitable placement point is to start with two raised points (the ones facing the ceiling) on the skull (more towards the base) and then slowly move the occipital region down towards the neck until you feeling the point of origin of your skull - this is the place where the tight myofascial tissue connects to your skull. It might be a little uncomfortable at first, but that's because your weave is likely to be very tight. You can try starting with shorter treatment periods throughout the day and work your way up to being able to rest on Occipivot for longer periods of time. I hope this explanation makes sense and you get the relief you deserve! Living with allergies and headaches is terrible but I swear by this product and have noticed a huge difference in how I feel since using it.
