Review on High-Power Speed Tester for ACTIONUNION Airsoft Chronograph by Joe Garczynski

To be honest I use this for high power PCP airguns. It is an indispensable element that I cannot do without. The shining works well. Just be very careful not to hit the sides of the aluminum tube that runs through the heart of the device with lead! I measured speeds up to 1600 fps with it. Was very impressed. I have two minor issues worth mentioning. The first thing I noticed was that this device doesn't like the cold. I'm having trouble getting readings when the outside temperature is well below 50 degrees. Only works for a few minutes at 40 degrees. The display still says it's working, but for some reason it can't read anything that goes by. Will have to investigate further. Maybe the batteries weaken in the cold and drop below the minimum voltage? The second problem is pretty weird. The air jet from large caliber weapons actually penetrates the optical sensor holes and BLOW THE BATTERIES OUT OF THE COMPARTMENT! A screw on the battery cover would have been an improvement in a facelift. It has an elastic pull tab on the door that opens. Those two things aside, I like the device. Works fine for me. Just be careful when shooting lead and not plastic, which is really what it's designed for.
