My young children have spoiled the white fabric of my chairs with food stains and left a few tears but the chairs themselves are still very good quality. I don't want my kids to ruin expensive upholstery just to ruin the fabric again. I finally got these seat covers to hide the unsightly chair seats. The fabric of the seat covers is thin but durable. it's super, I mean super flexible and stretchy. My chairs are big. At first I wasn't sure if they could cover my chair. But I have no problem pushing them down and putting them on. They stay up until they roll, strong, no breaks, no visible stains (I think the navy hides any stains left by my kids). For people with small children and light-colored fabrics on chairs, this is a very good and inexpensive temporary solution until the children are grown.
