I am very happy with this purchase. I worked on my old lightbulb for about 10,000 hours and eventually it became very difficult to see. I was skeptical about buying it because it was just a lamp and I didn't know if it was OEM. Well I can tell you it's an OEM unit and it was very easy to install. MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT TOUCH THE LIGHT WITH YOUR FINISHES. Oil on your fingers will kill that pear. I had to have a projector repaired at an audio/video store and the technician who worked on it couldn't say enough. I would also advise you to get SquareTrade Protection. I have about 500 hours on it now and will update if I run into any issues.
