I bought these thinking I could reuse them so it was worth the price. No, it's not 100% worth it. First, they're gigantic, but awkwardly gigantic. They are very long but the opening is very narrow. I had a loaf of bread I wanted to put in and I was HARD to get it without crushing the bread. I had 3 loaves of bread that I bought at a farmers market, which I only bought because I thought I could make them last longer, so 3 loaves in 3 sealed bags. I also sliced the chicken and vacuum packed it 1/2 for the freezer. The bag of chicken didn't stay on at all, the tiny bone just had time to pierce the barley or something several minutes before I could get it out. freezer, it began to fill with air. After checking for leaks, squeezing the valve and fiddling around a lot, I gave up and got a new fresh bag thinking I might have sucked too hard. But no, this package did the same. 2 out of 3 bags of bread also failed when vacuuming! The BREAD's chewy crust was apparently enough to poke a microscopic hole or something, and now those bags are junk that doesn't hold a seal. Maybe I'm getting it wrong but the seams are to me if you don't need to pack the jelly save your money and buy the nameless cheap ones that are at Revain. They work and are much more durable.
