It seems to be a good quality product. Definitely worth it as I hate pulling out a useless factory scissor jack when fixing small unibody cars. I'm always concerned about damaging the flimsy one-piece body that these cars are often built from. I don't know why people complain about the smell. It's a tool that's likely to be kept in your garage until you need it, rather than in your kitchen sink. It smells like thick rubber, like a hockey puck. You'll save some money by being your own mechanic, as long as you don't chew this tool you can live with the smell! :)
