I use this with size 8/0 beads which have fairly small holes and very few of them cannot easily slide over the tip of this bead. The tip tends to snag on the yarn (the weight of the tip) so I have to be very careful to remove the bead with a downward twist. Still, sometimes it gets stuck. Despite these issues, this tool lets you place beads much faster than other methods I've tried. The main reason for my lower rating is that the tool is very long so it doesn't easily fit in my project bag and it didn't come in a protective storage tube. I refuse to spend another 5-6 bucks for a storage tube! What I've done, and it's working pretty well, is get rid of the plastic wrapping of the toothbrush. He fits right in. If this tool were about an inch shorter, it would probably fit perfectly in the remaining beaded tube!
