Working-Upgrade-No longer working

I used this product to replace the ignition switch on my 2005 Polaris Sportsman 500 HO. Super fast delivery and assembly was not long in coming. It worked as advertised. At 1/8 the cost of an OEM derailleur, it's cheap enough to keep a spare pair in case of a breakdown. UPDATE: This switch worked for a day (it's cheap but I expected more than a day's work). The next day I got on the quad and while driving the speedometer and dashboard started to shine. Today my son tried to drive it and it wouldn't start at all. I'll swap it for another switch, maybe mine was just broken? If the replacement does the same thing, I'll bite the bullet for the OEM.
