First, the main tube is a bit short, making the pump easy to detach if you squeeze it or try to insert it while wiggling in the fountain. You'll have to leave the pump slack and hope the tubing or pump connector doesn't come loose as you insert it. The thread will have very few threads. At the same time, you need to be careful not to turn off the pump (my 1st point). Besides, it works fine.
