I love these, my first pair I have ever had and so far they have been great. Very soft and flexible so you can work and move comfortably without feeling like a fat marshmallow. They kept me warm in the barn during the Montana winter. I put them on when it was 27 degrees (it wasn't cold here yet!) and it actually got so warm that I was able to take off my coat. I'm 5ft 7in, 155lbs and the average fit is just perfect. And I can comfortably wear warmer, thicker layers underneath and a coat over it. Being a tall woman I also tried on long shorts and they were super long. Too long so I recommend the regular length if you are about 5ft 7in tall. When in doubt, go to places like Big R or Tractor Supply and try on different sizes. And another thing I love about them is that they are open at the bottom so you can slip them over a bulky pair of winter boots. I also wear my winter boots with shirts, which I easily pull over the boots.
