So I had to drop the spare tire to get new shock absorbers. Dropped a tire with no problems! Swapped the spare wheel and put it back on the wire, and that's when the problems started. Did about 10 turns and started to slip. I noticed the lack of movement so I pulled it out and looked at the hole. He had moved out. I tried separating the two pieces and grabbing them with a new wrench but they wouldn't separate. I had to bang on the sides to tighten it and have my girlfriend take out the slack while I lay under the car pushing the spare tire into the hole. I'll rush around and go to the Chevrolet to drill, at least what I'm buying is legal. Do not buy. 2/10
