First, the support rails are flimsy and cheap. After installation, my son, who weighs only 72 pounds, climbed the step and the support bar buckled under his weight. At first I thought I put the supports wrong, but they can only go one way. I had to make new, stronger footpegs and discard the ones that came with the kit. The footpegs are fine, but also very flimsy. To install them properly, you need to make four support rails, two on each side. One guide is not enough to support, the pillow bends.
