Review on 🔦 Tiffany Dimmable Wall Mount Lamp: Industrial Vintage Gooseneck Wall Sconce Lighting with Plug-in Cord and Switch for Bedroom Nightstand & Living Room by Christine Ellis

I bought this product and prayed the 2 item descriptions were NOT true - that the lampshade is only 4 inches in diameter and weighs 25 pounds. BOTH are WRONG. Gorgeous Shade 7" + Bottom Width - - The 4" measurement is the top of the lampshade where the lamp comes in. The total weight is less than 3 pounds. The overall height appears to be just under a foot. Let's talk about the dimmer. This switch works great! I used a regular 9 watt dimmable led bulb (a19) that you can get at walmart. The HIGH end of the dial is more than enough to read and the LOW end creates a wonderful atmosphere. Tiffany style glass is really glass, not plastic and not just glued together. It is the cabochons at the bottom that give the lampshade a certain structure. Although it was delivered to me safe and sound, I understand why some are complaining that it arrived broken. The box the lamp comes in is in pretty good condition. packaged but the shipping carton that the lamp box went into had no pad or anything to protect it from jumping in. The delivery was very FAST and was tracked with no problems. It even arrived a day early. Finally I come to the installation. Installation instructions are BAD. While you will get a wired lamp mount, you will NOT get good enough mounts to use with battens and plaster walls if you use the plug-in method. This lamp is very heavy. My workaround was to insert a cup hook into one of the case's designated holes, which I then hooked over the main bracket. Relatively safe! Overall I am very happy with this lamp. (I've attached a photo of this in the room to give you an idea of the dimensions. It's on the back wall above the sofa.)
