The straws are beautiful - I've even had compliments on their gem color. These are large metal straws - I also have 8 inch straws which are wider and fit better in regular sized glasses; large ones are best for water bottles, large drinks like iced tea, etc. If you saw that I have pictures you would first cry and then promise yourself to do something about it. Delete it. I can't imagine the pain for this poor beautiful turtle. We need to clean up single-use petroplastic for our oceans, our planet, and all the wild animals that don't deserve to suffer from our throwaway society — don't choke on plastic loops, get tangled up in them, and choke on hundreds of individual pieces — use plastic bags like whales, dolphins, and Turtles have died since 13, 17, 40 - a sperm whale died with 64 pounds of plastic in its stomach. n Save massive amounts of plastic from damaging our oceans and harming or killing animals.
