This is the third order, so we should be satisfied. We have replaced most of the lightbulbs in our van with these. We didn't have a single failure out of 20 lamps. Now we make bays. They emit bright white light without heat. We will use a light meter on our next trip so we can save some money. One suggestion, they're hard to plant like any bulb with this base configuration. LEDs can be affected by sebum, so it's best to protect skin from exposure to the elements. I used a paper towel to hold the bulbs with two fingers and line them up with the socket. There is a ridge at the base of the round disk. If the front edge of the spatula is pressed against the comb, they will sit much easier. When you press on the disk, it bends at the base. The only downside was that the first and second orders turned out to be slightly different light levels.
