We have used Omnifilters throughout our home's water supply and this is the only type we use. We use more water at this time of year than the rest of the year, and you can tell by the color change in this filter. When our water table reaches the bottom of the well, it starts mixing fine sediments (dirt) with water; However, this filter traps dirt in the threads. First, it keeps the water from the faucet side fresh and clear. We highly recommend this brand and this company as they can serve us well.
