Review on SECURE® Denture Adhesive Comfort Strips by Ashley Karch

I have had implants but the permanent teeth do not appear until 6 months after the studs have taken root and bone is growing around them. I now have to wear "temporary prostheses" that don't fit me very well. The security strips hold up better than most, but I also have to use either Secure Adhesive or Poligrip Extra Care (slightly better) with them to last most of the day. I use small nail scissors to trim them to fit my lower denture. I tried using the X-Acto knife but it didn't help me much. I use the excess to run the front of the top and bottom, covering up the areas on the bottom where the stripes aren't wide enough. It's still hard to get through 10 hours and two meals. If I plan to eat out in public, I have to put and glue new strips in place about an hour in advance to make sure the bottom strip stays in place during dinner. (The top panel stays in place with Original Poligrip). Reliable strips plus good glue work well until I get my permanent teeth on implants!
