Cheap, but does what it's supposed to.
Yes, it's plastic and flimsy, but if you use it carefully, it does the job. I like that it is small and compact. I find the price a bit high for this quality. I have looked at many other bread slicers and they are much more expensive. If you bake a lot of bread, you probably need something more permanent. Overall I am satisfied with this purchase.
