I ordered 5 of these in total. One way back, and then the last 4 this month (two were Christmas presents and two were for me). A few things have changed between the first and the last. I have a feeling the font is darker on the newer screens. The lettering is green on both, on my first it was a dimmer green. On new ones (tested on three) it's a darker green that's a bit harder to see. - If you press "Delete" on new ones, the device will go through about 5 updates. The old ones only did one per press. It's a nice upgrade because if you leave messages there for too long, there's a "reminder" that makes you want to delete them multiple times. - The new ones have the "NEWYES" logo. OK that's good. Except it's upside down based on device position with style. My first is starting to get that pesky ridge on one side, prompting me to buy new ones. I really hope the new ones don't get them. But other than that edge, I've never had a problem with them. They are very handy to have on hand. Used mine for school work and even while playing video games. :3
