To start off I have a toaster oven and an air fryer with a basket. I was curious to see how this stacked up against those. To start it’s very compact and looks beautiful. It comes with 2 slotted trays and a solid tray which goes on the bottom, but could be used to cook food. It also has a rotisserie basket and rotisserie skewers to hold a chicken. I used the basket for tater tots, but thought it made too much of a mess and they didn’t turn our as good as they did on the slotted tray. Plus removing the tots from the basket was tricky as you need to hold it with the provided tool while turning the lid to open it. My oven mits didn’t open wide enough, so not sure how you would effectively use the basket. Using 2 levels of slotted trays for tots didn’t have even results I assume because the heating element is on top. Things turn out great using the single slotted tray, unless you are heating up pizza or similar, then both trays work fine. It is easy to use like other appliances, but I haven’t used the app yet. I like it much better than the toaster oven, except it’s too small to cook a full size pizza, which is mainly what I use the toaster oven for. This is a fair price for an air fryer. I’m excited to try the dehydrating feature and expect this to become our primary air fryer for things like corn dogs and tots. I will use my other air fryer when making a large batch of fries or tots as I can shake them. Maybe using 2 trays and swapping them from top to bottom would have the same effect, so I’ll try that at some point. It is a beautiful appliance that’s doesn’t take up much space and gives you multiple functions. I hope this review helps.
