I've had these glasses for two weeks now and keep them in a protective case when not in use and the optical distortion from scratches is already greater than the 3M Virtua CCS- Glasses I' have used for the last 8 months. The coating does not prevent scratches, but causes large optical distortions when scratches appear. Scratches are less noticeable with Uvex glasses, but the haze from optical distortions is greater in a fraction of the time of use. The Uvex didn't fit my face very well either, it felt like it was made for someone with a small head. Anti-fog protection is good, but not as good as 3M goggles. These goggles fog up during strenuous work. On the 3m goggles I can also detach the gasket from the lens which makes cleaning easier, but on these Uvex goggles the gasket is permanently bonded to the lenses. Given that these are one of the most expensive goggles on the market, costing almost four times the price of the 3M Virtua CCS, and their performance is inferior, I give them one star.
