Rescuer for a very emaciated little rescue kitten

I finally rescued a kitten about six weeks old who was abandoned by her mother for at least a week, according to the people who originally found her and caught her and bought her for her. I tried giving it to her at the nursery I bought at the store and she completely refused it, wanting nothing to do with it and I was very upset that I couldn't get her to drink it . . (Since then, friends who have often rescued and raised kittens have told me that a medical dropper so you can express them is by far the first resort, then a nanny if they continue trying to breastfeed.) I ended up having I poured some of it into a bowl and tried to hold the kitty down, and luckily she got quite a bit that way (and fell over on her own a few times, but hey, it was better than nothing!) when she over the next week or two she got a little healthier and bulkier, drank more of it and seemed to enjoy it very much. To see her stop breastfeeding early and be definitely malnourished for a week was a lifesaver and I'm incredibly grateful that she made up for the missing nutrients. line, now she is a strong, healthy, playful and active kitty and I am truly grateful that I gave her this when she was exhausted and sick and did so little to help her survive so well and her to help regain their strength and energy and get over infections, and now be healthy today.
