After I put it to the test I can confidently say that this rug pad is sturdy and reliable .It kept my rug in place and prevented any unwanted slipping or sliding. Plus, it added an extra layer of cushioning underfoot. The only downside is that it was a bit difficult to trim down to the exact size of my rug..
