Good for supplying the bed of a truck with 12 V.
Copper wire. Bought to power a pickup truck bed with a 12v battery, install 3 x 12v sockets for led lights, charge a solar panel and run a 12v fridge. You need to make sure this wire can safely carry 30-40 amps - hence 8AWG.
