Works as expected with a 2015 Macbook Pro.
My sister didn't want a Macbook with a Touch Bar, so I recommended her a 2015 Macbook Pro with the highest specs, regular F-keys and no Touch Bar (still the best option in my opinion, the Touch Bar) .panel is a trick). However, it still uses the mini display port over HDMI and she likes to connect her laptop to her TV to watch. This worked great as expected. The nylon thread makes it feel really high quality and shouldn't break or break anytime soon. She's had him for about a year now. As long as you have a long enough HDMI cable, it works great and is small enough to fit in your laptop bag when traveling. 5/5 recommend
