Review on Stern Saver Transducer Mounting System by Carlos Whitfield

I have an old aluminum boat (1988 Hewescraft River Runner) that has had multiple owners. One of them covered several previous transom mounting holes with a solid plate, which they attached to the boat with silicone and screws. Might have worked when they first did it but became a huge leak. I removed it, sealed all the holes (there are 16 of them) with JB weld and then attached this block. Reinstalled the converter and no more leaks! Installation was easy - the instructions were written by someone whose first language was English. The kit has everything you need. Overall a great product that works as advertised.
