Medium quality, especially for that kind of money.
The keyboard has built-in memory that stores up to five backlight profiles. But even for simple backlighting, you need to keep the Razer Synapse program running in the background, which takes up 250 megabytes of RAM. Riser support confirmed: "You will not be able to use the saved profile if you close the Razer Synapse application." When you close the program, the keyboard starts to shimmer again with a rainbow.
Pros
- Beautiful strict design. Heavy. The keys click clearly, loudly, pleasantly. The noise level is almost like a typewriter.
Cons
- Static backlighting requires 250 megabytes of RAM.
