Review on 🔩 DERNORD Tri Clamp Stainless Ferrule: Premium Silicone for Hydraulics, Pneumatics & Plumbing by Adam Gechem

I have ordered several of these clamps and this latest batch is smaller than previous clamps. It's like they're trying to cut about half the steel in making these things. This latest batch is lighter and thinner than any of my previous clamps, and the actual clamping surface is smaller and MUCH more difficult to install than the larger, more comfortable clamps I've purchased before. If you're used to doing this with one hand, you usually have to use two hands to get it in the right position. They do not align themselves like most trilamps and must be carefully adjusted. The actual clamping surface is not only smaller in width, but also in depth. We will resort to more expensive brand name clamps and only use these "small" clamps for connections that will last. It's a shame, because I really need to order more clamps now.
