Review on πŸ“· Lowepro LP36955-PWW Photo Hatchback BP 150 AW II Camera Case - Superior Protection in Black/Gray by Rashan Jimenez

Suitable for Canon 70D with 3 lenses, light, well made, comfortable, I like it very much!

I wanted an everyday bag that could hold a hydration pack, my camera and various places to store snacks, jackets etc: this bag (150 AW ii) will lay a Canon 70D with a 17-55mm lens on its side. I can also store my 18-135mm and 50mm lenses in the camera storage compartment. The handle on the camera body is pressed slightly against the back of the bag, but nothing is noticeable when carrying. It's a tight fit but I wanted a small pocket so it's worth the compromise. Also, I took my Camelbak 1L reservoir and put it in my front pocket and it fits perfectly (my 2L reservoir is too big to fit). I have a Manfrotto Compact Advanced tripod that barely fits in one of the side bags, but I add a strap to my bag so I can carry it there without tipping over (it's too big). I carry my Black Rapid shoulder strap in the other side pocket. The bag looks very high quality, has lots of space, pockets and adjustable shoulder straps (and a small hidden pocket for a memory card on the flap to stow the camera). It's also very convenient. There is also a rain cover conveniently tucked away in its own pocket at the very bottom of the bag. I was really concerned that it wouldn't fit on a DSLR with a lens attached, but it did. I also keep the lens hood in the same camera compartment. In the top section I can fit a bag with 6 filters, extra memory cards, lens cleaner, charger and extra battery, pen, notepad, keys, phone and still have room for a packed lunch or crumpled jacket. Recommend this bag if you don't want anything bulky or something flashy like a camera bag. All the convenience of a lightweight backpack for a day trip, but with the protection and storage of a camera bag.

Pros
  • Remove the camera compartment and use as a full backpack
Cons
  • Not sure
