Review on Duck 392907 Indoor Outdoor 1 41 Inch by Muleme Bollinger

THIS PRODUCT WILL CAUSE MAJOR DAMAGE TO YOUR VALUABLE FLOORS. It keeps your carpets in place, but it's a disaster on hardwood floors. I have a nice hardwood floor with some rugs. To keep them in place I used short strips of this tape to hold the mats in place. The photo I've attached shows the area where tape was placed on the cargo area carpet less than two months ago. There were no specific instructions on how to remove the tape when it needed to be replaced. I just peeled the tape off the carpet and then off the floor. The tape removed the gloss finish - I lost all of the trim on the floor in the 2 foot strip where the tape was placed. I have covered several other areas with this tape and am very concerned about how to safely remove it.
