Take a big hard pass and just grab an Apple Pencil.
Now I know the difference between a cheap stylus and an Apple Pencil. This pen is really annoying when trying to use it. You write on it and it erases the letter or word you just wrote and takes a few tries for it to stick. Apple Pencil just works. So if you're considering getting something cheaper, you can just bite the bullet and buy an Apple Pencil so you don't get annoyed if you try to use a non-brand one.
