It works great with a Bluetooth keyboard, but the connection to my Surface was smooth and I had to reconnect frequently. It doesn't have the pin connections that you'll find with the Microsoft brand, so that made it a little less fun. I also cooled down the keyboard and lay down to type and my tablet automatically went to sleep, which was annoying.
